only one person has slid into my DMs that is "crushing it" with affiliate marketing and they were actually on the other side of it. affiliates were working for him (which i think is a good revenue channel) my argument here is that getting rich as an AFFILIATE MARKETER, selling other people's products is not a great long term model esp for solopreneurs starting in 2025 (obviously there are exceptions and great businesses like NerdWallet) but i tweet this again to invite anyone into my DMs who's crushing it as an affiliate marketer. my DMs are confidential and I'm willing to change my mind.

On a related note, I’m now obsessed with the (unsubstantiated) hypothesis that we inadvertently poisoned the corpus of image training data via Instagram. So many influencers w/ public accounts post countless photos with filters and Facetune…kind of like the “AI sheen.” 🤔
