Hedonic adaptation & frontier LLMs ============================ LLMs are a victim of human hedonic adaptation There is no LLM that I am impressed with for more than a week. The moment a new more capable LLMs or agentic tool becomes available, I change my workflow. The tasks that I used to spend a lot of time on becomes straight forward (e.g. analysing a paper by deconstructing a codebase). Life is great. 😀 Then once that tasks becomes easy, I take on more tasks and discover this new LLM is not as capable on that and I become dissatisfied again ☹️ This is how the society going to adjust to AGI. We are are going to be unimpressed with it within a week.
