Every company wants to be an AI company. Including DoorDash, which just launched a standalone app to help you decide where to eat. You can search for restaurants in natural language (e.g. “vibey first date spot), ask a chatbot any Qs, and browse reviews from other users 👇
The restaurant profiles pull in a crazy amount of data from across the web - TikTok, Google, Reddit, review sites, etc. The one surprise to me is that they don’t seem to leverage all the HUGE amount of proprietary existing DoorDash reviews they have on the food 🤔
