I wish there was a code of ethical marketing. - Don't lie about your revenue. - Don't use fake testimonials. - Don't promote your own work on a competitor's content. - Don't create urgency with fake short-term sales. - etc. Then like a "hall of shame" where you could expose ppl
I've always liked to believe that "the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." But I'm not sure those words apply to internet marketing—or at least not on a time scale that matters much. There's not enough of a negative feedback loop for bad behavior.
