Looking at this year's Black Friday sale numbers so far, my main takeaway is this. Conversions from Twitter/X dropped from ok, to bad in 2023, to worse in 2024, to *terrible* this year. A lot of people are not on Twitter anymore. Most tweets are shown/seen at random times, to only certain followers. People come here to scroll, not to click/buy. From those who do click on tweets, only a few buy. So, for me Twitter becomes "top of the funnel" platform, almost similar to YouTube shorts. The platform to drive awareness, brainstorm ideas and just maintain personal brand. But not driving much direct sales. Most sales on Laravel Daily now happen from email subscribers, YouTube videos and good old SEO. Hell, even *LinkedIn* post conversions are better than Twitter. (never thought I would say that) Of course, it may be just my personal case, and maybe majority of my Twitter followers already bought Laravel Daily membership :)
