昨天晚上肝了一晚上，来写我的原创小说《无限聊斋》，好不容易写到2万字，在番茄小说上申请‘签约’，竟然通过了。 难道作为码农的我人生的第二曲线要开始了？ 我在写小说方面竟然也有连我自己都不知道的天赋？ 这是真的吗？可能是套路吗？

字节系的办事效率好高，昨天晚上10点申请的。 今天上午9:00来公司干活前一看竟然通过了，催我尽快签约。

Because my timeline is talking about hearing aids, I will take a rare step and join the discourse! I was diagnosed with hearing loss as a young child. Despite trying hearing aids several times, I've never used them regularly. I have all sorts of coping mechanisms for my hearing issues - I read lips really well, I'm generally vigilant/aware of my surroundings, I'm a fast reader, I watch TV with captions and I love to work from home because I can put the zoom volume way up. I've experimented with hearing aids over the years but find them unsettling for two reasons: those little noises most of you probably never think about like crinkling paper always put me on edge, and when I had them in, I would barely speak because the sound of my own voice was so loud and unfamiliar. It would be amazing if there is a real solution to hearing loss like this - I'm sure everyone in my life would be really appreciative if they didn't have to repeat themselves 10 times in a day and I would probably learn a lot more since I have no idea what I'm missing!
