Another Friday - time to brainstorm the game plan for the next week, month, even year. I love coming to this coffee shop, helps me focus and get things done. Working from home for all these years… gets a bit boring and repetitive.

Honestly, I had no idea how I’m going to make it… At the start of the year, we had just bought our new apartment. We needed furniture, electronics, etc, and I still had to pay back the €20k loan from our parents. We needed a lot of money, and I was packing because I was only making a few thousand per month. Had no idea how I was going to make it. I just knew I needed to figure something out. Fast! So my first big move was to sell my SaaS. Honestly, I was happy to let it go. When the deal closed for $50k, it felt incredible! I made the most amount of money in a single month! But it still wasn’t enough. 😬 Next, I launched the Unlimited Consulting offer, inspired by @dvassallo. That made $8.7k. Then I made another $3k from sponsorships. Things were looking good… until burnout hit. And the revenue dropped a lot since I couldn’t work much. In August, I made only $600. Quite the drop from the $50k. 🥲 And of course, that’s when all the big apartment payments arrived... and they were much higher than I expected! When I added everything up, I realized that once we paid it all, we’d be left with basically nothing. And I hate having no money set aside. I’ve always had a safety buffer, even as a kid. So I recalculated everything and saw the truth: I needed another $30k to feel safe. And then… it happened again. Call it luck, or pressure, or survival mode, but within a month, I signed six sponsorship deals and made over $40,000! I was shocked! 🤯 For the second time this year, I needed a large amount of money, and somehow, I found a way to make it. Now the apartment is finished, the big expenses are behind us, and things feel more stable. But the funny part? I still don’t know where my income will come from in January. 😬 The difference is… now I have a plan. A real one. A longterm plan. If this year taught me anything, it’s this: When you need to find a way, you usually do. You get creative. Sometimes the tough moments are the ones that bring out the best in you.
