The biggest improvement the fast food chains could make is to actually make it FAST again. - No cash allowed in drive-thru - No followup questions. "Would you like to donate to.." - Pay at the order speaker so the line is not blocked with people digging through purses/wallets - Multiple order pickup windows with digital signs above them showing each car where to go - Automate the straw/napkin/sauces so they are NEVER forgotten When I worked at McDonalds 20 years ago, it was all about speed. More cars = More revenue. Everyone wins. When did that stop being the priority?
