Got this email via contact form. Good guy ChatGPT to the rescue. It’s a fake client scam that plays out in predictable steps. 1) They send a generic, flattering project request (often web design, photography, branding). 2) Once you reply, they’ll say: “My project consultant has the logo and content. I’ll have you charge her fee along with your invoice.” 3) They’ll “pay” you with a stolen credit card or forged cheque - often for more than your quote. Then they’ll say: “Please send the consultant her part right away so she can send you the materials.” 4) You transfer that money (usually by wire, PayPal, or crypto) - and a few days later: - The bank reverses the payment, - The stolen funds are clawed back, You’re left out the full amount you forwarded. 💥 Beware.

I was going round in circles on this annoying bug where I couldn't properly open a file in my macos app gpt-5 high, gpt-5 codex, sonnet 4.5 and opus 4.1 couldn't fix it. gpt-5 pro nailed the problem in less than 8 minutes. patch worked first time!
