I would honestly be fascinated to see a documentary about how a studio looked at our current political and social moment and thought: "You know what we need right now? Animal Farm, but remade as a cutesy comedy starring Seth Rogen." Also curious how Nicolas Cage wasn't cast.

Yes. If a functional Quantum Computer is built, it could use Shor's algorithm to crack the encryption guarding Bitcoin's earliest wallets. This would expose the private keys to Satoshi Nakamoto’s fortune, likely crashing the market and destroying trust in the whole system.

This post has a strong ‘I told you so’ vibe. I’m a tech enthusiast and dislike brands and corporations. It aligns with my perspective that money is hard to earn and shouldn’t be easily spent.

Some traditional brands claim to be struggling in the current market. But I’m part of that market, which means they need to work harder to earn my business. Especially when it comes to expensive items such as cars.

There is a booming EV market in China, but the EU slapped up to 45% tariffs on them, and the US went with 100%. As a consumer, I feel this is unfair. I will not part with my hard-earned money just because bureaucrats told me to buy local. I would rather go car-free for another year - use public transportation and Uber - than pay $50k for an already outdated, uninteresting traditional European vehicle.

Call it a personal strike. I will wait them out.
