If we're gonna build a super assistant, it has to be able to do things. For models to do stuff, they're much more effective when they can use a computer. And now the question is, okay, well, how should it use the computer? You could try to hack the OS and user accessibility APIs. Maybe you could point and click. That's a little slow and unpredictable. Another way, and it turns out the best way for models to use computers, is simply to write code."
