if anything, people didn’t take moravec’s paradox seriously enough. it explained why computers could do so well at board games, but then ppl were still taken aback at how quickly language and abstract reasoning were solved. worth thinking about what open domains are hard for humans, not bcuz they’re actually hard but bcuz we’re humans
