#DRAM

What AI thingy are you guys using to do make GitHub changes for you?

I just want to let our marketing guy open a ticket on our website GitHub repo to make small changes like updating copy/schema, and have AI do it and make the PR.

Then I'll review and merge it

Earlier today a founder asked what's surprised me the most about building marketplaces.

We had a long conversation about this, but these three things stood out when reflecting back on my experience:

1. How much of a long game it really is
I didn't fully realize this until it was 5+ years into building Studiotime and I felt like we were just getting started.

2. Liquidity is what matters
It’s easy to obsess over product, design improvements, and new features. At the end of the day though, marketplaces only work when they have liquidity. This was a quick learning when we launched, then also expanded into new markets and use cases.

3. The scale of impact marketplaces can have
I’ve built products that have helped users before, but marketplaces are on another level. I was always amazed by the extent people benefited from using Studiotime and even some that made a living through our marketplace.

I'm sure the above will also be relatable to other marketplace founders (so nothing new) and hopefully great reminders.
