Pray for Xi. So long as he's in power and there is no democracy in China, these jingoistic retards won't get their way. The gains from “settling disputes” with India militarily are negligible compared to even tiny risk of the war going nuclear.
This scenario becomes kind of plausible not with the increase in Chinese conventional superiority (already overwhelming) but with the progress in interception tech. Even then, at that point India would likely concede to a peaceful settlement, or China would just ignore the issue.
