Rails tip: A good trade-off for avatar caching is to allow those of others to be stale for up to 30 minutes, but for your own to always be fresh, so there's no "why didn't it update" mystery when uploading a new avatar for yourself. https://t.co/cre0OYGqRL

@MaximeMB_ For the record, these are the verticals I've tried for TrustMRR to build long-term value.

90% failed* except the acquisition marketplace, which seems to be getting traction and already helped 2 founders get acquired within 7 days.

*fail = long-term value found

POV: Waiting for the next consulting call 🍎

An apple a day keeps the doctor away (and the MRR up)

I really dislike the term “vibe coding” being used for every new software where AI has been used.

When I read vibe coding I infer someone building software by going with the “vibe”.

Think letting AI guide the entire UI/UX design flow.

Perhaps even software someone might consider sloppy.

There’s nothing wrong with that approach to get an idea shipped fast.

However, that’s not how I (and probably a lot of people passionate about product) approach building software with AI.

Instead, I start off with a vision of how I want the app to behave and look like.

I then scope out the necessary tech stack and think about the UX/UI.

I gather a bunch of inspiration and the play around in Figma until it “clicks” for me.

Only then I start using AI as a helper to let me write all the boring boilerplate.

I lied to you above.

AI does sometimes help me with design.

For example, I don’t want to even think how long it would’ve taken me to come up with the perfect bounce animation for Juicy or how to optimize the CPU usage so Juicy doesn’t ironically drain your battery.

I spend 86% of my time coding now with AI. 14% are coded with bare hands plus brain.

I freaking love this approach.

I can now ship my ideas faster and get to have more time to think about the little things that can make your software more unique.

Perhaps we need a new term for coding with AI but without the vibe?! 😅

TrustMRR iS DeAd In OnE WeEk 🤣😡😫

Sure.

- People spend $999 to lock spots in January 2026.
- Expired subscriptions are auto-renewed (thanks @MaximeMB_)
- I found a new idea that could last years if well executed (buy/sell startups)

It reminds me of the early days of ShipFast "iTs jUst a BoileRpLAte".

I ignored the skeptics and focused on adding more features and trying different verticals. 2 years later, it has helped thousands of developers launch their startups fast, and it made $1.2M.

No idea is "too small."

Just ship it.

@MaximeMB_ @MaximeMB_ sold his 2nd startup for 90k USD last month. He started a new startup @Mediaboostcc and got the 20th ad spot available on TrustMRR. I root for your 3rd acquisition! (hopefully on the platform I'm building atm 😁)

Fizzy feels fast, delightful, and fun. All with a minimum of JavaScript. We have more lines of CSS than we do JS! Just 55 tiny Stimulus controllers. You just don't need much with Hotwire. https://t.co/UldWrFjDBE
