I once told a manager on a project that I never used a Jupiter notebook, and he saw that as a red flag. He came from a marketing background in data science, and to him, the fact that a software engineer had never used a Jupyter Notebook was a sign of incompetence. This is generally what happens when you have people who know nothing about tech leading technical teams. They run it to the ground without even knowing which context is relevant.
