The Chinese probably don't understand that unlike Westerners who've been receiving their high-IQ talent and integrating it into the PMC for generations now, for Russia the stereotype is still "poor Asians making trinkets in a polluted hellscape" on top of "insane Maoists killing birds, even more insane than we ever were". There are very few new-generation Chinese in Russia. This explains much of the (unmerited, at this point) condescension and racism. It changes gradually. Only so many gachas you can goon to and nice cars you can drive while looking down on the makers of it all.
