Visited H.L. Hunley in Charleston SC this wknd - the 1st combat submarine to sink a warship (in 1864 - US Civil War). Was discovered in 1995, raised in 2000, & conserved in tank w/ sodium hydroxide solution. Imagine hand-cranking a sub by candlelight 😬

instead of focusing on billion dollar opportunities, my dumb brain will hyper-fixate on projects like this, where I'd collect loose palm tree bootjacks in my neighborhood & sell them w/ googly eyes, loose fabric, & red cotton balls as arts & crafts kits for $29.99. Help me 🥴

building in public is all ok & stuff until someone begins impersonating your brand & screen-scraping your content & hot-linking your images on one page with 1k images and that hammers your server until you figure out a way to block that nonsense.

12 yrs later, & I finally fixed sorting on RanchWork․com 🥴 I list all jobs in reverse-chronological order. If one filled, it'd list: OPEN OPEN FILLED OPEN OPEN now, when one fills, itsorts all OPEN jobs at top, and pushes FILLED to the bottom. (seems easy but gave me fits)
