Moment-Based 3D Gaussian Splatting: Resolving Volumetric Occlusion with Order-Independent Transmittance Contributions: • A splatting-based, physically accurate rendering formulation that computes emitted radiance from the combined density of potentially overlapping 3D Gaussians. • An efficient numerical quadrature rule derived under the assumption of piecewise-constant density, enabling volumetric radiance computation. • A power-transform-based moment representation with a closed-form recurrence, resolving numerical instability in transmittance-moment computation, enabling order-independent rasterization without requiring Gaussian sorting. • A confidence-interval-based screen-space bounding strategy that enables robust and faster rasterization and improves consistency in visually complex regions.

AI时代创业我觉得要想清楚一件事情： 如何在大厂和独立开发者的夹缝中，找到一个可以快速积累产生数据壁垒的发展区 既摒弃了大厂的各种合规和流程，导致大厂早期做不了 又逃开了独立开发者的vibe coding，导致竞争激烈 找到这种区间，快速发展快速积累，靠时间换空间获得数据壁垒，滚起飞轮效应，才会有价值 否则终局不是活不好死不掉，就是大概率被收购

I spoke about this. Genzs are the first generation where the oldest is 29 but, have not yet created any life changing invention. They are consumers of inventions but not the pioneers. This is the first time in recent history. They havnt shown any proof that they can do 0-1 yet.

Funny story We wanted to show @csonotes the Tesla Y self driving, well more like lane assist because FSD is banned in Europe/Portugal It drove around and then managed to crash itself into one of the big stone balls on the sidewalk, rekt the rims So literally a computer can't even fit the 2 meter wide Tesla Y in the Portuguese streets, let alone a human 😂 The top sold car in Portugal is 1.7 meter wide btw
