WE BEAT THE CASE Starter Story has been officially freed from YouTube JAIL. All strikes have been reversed. Thank you to EVERYONE who commented, sent messages, etc - it was really nice to see how much the channel meant to you. I'm lucky to be in a position of having a large audience, which made it easier to get attention from YouTube. HOWEVER going through this process I talked to a lot of smaller creators that aren't in this position. They're losing their channels and their ability to put food on the table. All because YouTube has seemingly decided to moderate channels with a flawed AI system. YouTube has always been known as the friendliest to creators with their model. Last week, I saw myself taking starter story to the moon with youtube. "Youtube is everything" This week, I'm taking steps to de-risk the entire business off of it. Hopefully @nealmohan and other execs at Google see this and can make some change.
