My thinking has shifted (after @rasbt and @soumithchintala shared their opinions). AGI will never be controlled by a single company. Even open source models will reach AGI. Why not compete with Nvidia to get profits? Google selling TPUs only shows that the scaling laws are showing diminishing returns.

I am happy to admit that if you asked me 4 years ago I would have said I wouldn't expect a language model would be able to solve a puzzle like this, but they pretty reliably can
if you asked me 10 years ago I would have said the question was basically nonsense
