TrustMRR is getting way more traffic than I expected, even 48 hours post-launch, so I've crystallized the business model: There will be a maximum of 20 ad sponsorships. 12 of them are displayed on all pages and rotate every 10 seconds like Times Square. There are 25,000 unique visitors a day, and the average session duration is 77 seconds. The ad placement rotation ensures each sponsor is shown at least once to each visitor. I've also added a subtle background color to each sponsor 🎨✨ and a top banner on mobile. There are currently 15 paying customers for a total of $9,386 MRR. There are 5 ad slots left. The goal with TrustMRR is to make it last long, not just a viral spike. So I'll work on marketing (in my own way, of course, aka building features and free tools). each starlink v3 appears to have ~100 kW of solar (based on array dimensions). starship should carry ~50–100 per flight — call it ~6 MW nameplate per launch at 60 sats. spacex applied for ~30k sats → ~3 GW of orbital solar in total if starship hits even conservative projected launch rates, they’d be able to launch a nuclear reactor worth of power capacity per year by the end of the decade. unprecedented scale.
this also assumes starship doesn’t improve at all. couple hundred launches a year is close to the rate of falcon rn. the nimby tax is so high that elon literally has to go to the farthest, most expensive place possible just to avoid it.
