I visited Paris for the first time recently and it felt so much more alive than London. I didn't realise it's because of how much more dense it is. Roughly 2x! London (central): 11,218 people/km² Paris (city proper): ~20,054 people/km² Manhattan: ~28,873/km² I think this is why London can feel a bit lifeless and cold in many areas (and it will get worse if it's true that Gen Z/A don't go out much)
