It must be said that Claude Code's skills are indeed very useful, but it is quite difficult to apply the same skills to tools such as Cursor and Windsurf. I just happened to come across the OpenSkills open-source project, which brings Claude Code's skill system to all AI programming assistants. The complete skill system of Claude Code has been replicated through a command-line tool, including the same prompt word format, the same skill market, and the same folder structure, except that CLI commands are used instead of tool calls. GitHub: https://t.co/zGatkB8HWS After installation, a single command can install skills from the official Anthropic skills repository, supporting dozens of professional skills such as PDF processing, Excel editing, and document creation. Custom skills can also be installed from any GitHub repository. If you're using Cursor, Windsurf, or Aider and want to access a Claude Code-level skill system, or want to share skill configurations across multiple assistants, this tool is worth a try.
