Open WebUI, a powerful AI platform deployed locally, has a complex environment configuration and high computer performance requirements, which deters many people. Therefore, a developer rewrote Open WebUI using the Rust language and provided an out-of-the-box installation package. No need to install complex dependencies such as Docker and Python, significantly reducing memory usage and hardware requirements, while retaining the original front-end interface for a completely consistent user experience. GitHub: https://t.co/swC9ld8906 It offers both desktop client and backend server versions, supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. The project is currently in the early stages of development. Those who want to try out the lightweight Open WebUI can install it and give it a shot.
