FFS creating a US tiktok account turns out to be harder than I thought. Anyone any ideas? I have: – Outline VPN via my own US Hetzner server – iPhone region is set to US – Language is English (US) – Time zone matches VPN location – No SIM card inserted – Tiktok downloaded from US App Store after everything setup I can see the +1 as default number input so technically TT things I'm from the US but once I got to the nickname section I got a "Server is currently unavailable". My gut feeling tells me TT probably knows this is fishy. Perhaps the Hetzner IP is flagged due to it being from a datacenter but I thought at least way better than using any of the NordVPNs etc?! Also not sure now even if I try to buy a mobile residential proxy IP (which are quite pricey) TT might have already flagged my device? Update: while typing this post suddenly I saw a "Your account was banned" modal?! Any cracked tiktok person out here have any idea what to do? Maybe fully factory reset the phone? Can I use the same IP or do I have to throw that out of the window again too? This is rocket science.
