The Position of #Women in Islam #Part_1 (1/29) First, a description of the position of women in the Quran: From the context of the Quran and the verses mentioned about women, it is clear and understandable that women are humiliated and humiliated, and men are inherently superior to women. The following verses clearly mention the superiority and dominion of men over women:👇
/ _ Weller ِّجال عليهن َّ وَلَّهٌ وَلّه عزيزٌ حكيم (Al-Baqarah 228) Translation: And men are superior to women, and God is dear and wise. _Al-Jal al-Qawamon on the women with the favor of Allah some on the other and with the spending of my wealth (Nisa 34)
/Translation: Men have dominion over women because God has made some of them excel others, and because men spend from their wealth.
/ In Islam, the human principle of woman being number two is clearly stated, according to the opinion of Baydawi and Zamakhshari and many commentators, man is the ruler and woman is the subject - man is the master and woman is the subordinate - and therefore behind this sentence of the Quran [the sentence that says men have dominion over women]
/ There is another sentence that makes it clear: “The righteous deeds are the guardians of the unseen.” So a virtuous woman is one who is obedient to her husband and preserves herself for him in his absence. In other words, women should not forget that they belong to their husband.
/ Pay attention to the following verse: Do you have a son and God has a daughter? (12) In that case, this division is wrong (that you have taken the superior ones and given the inferior ones to God) (22)
/ Should God differentiate between boys and girls with such narrow-mindedness?! It was the Arabs who were proud of having sons and thought that angels were female. Didn't God appear here in the position of a primitive Arab who considered sons to be the only true heirs?
/ At the end of the same verse 34 of Surah An-Nisa, mentioned above, it allows a man to beat his wife: “And those who fear that we will disgrace them, then admonish them, and abandon them in the prisons, and beat them…”
/Translation: If your wife is disobedient and rebellious, first admonish her. If she does not comply, deprive her of sexual intercourse, and if she still does not submit and obey, beat her.
/ The laws of every nation are in accordance with their customs, morals, and way of life. Beating women has been a common and widespread practice among the Arabs. It is clear from the narrations and history of the Arabs and from this verse itself that the man has considered himself the owner of the woman and has brought upon her whatever calamity he wishes.
/ In the commentary of Majma' al-Yabiyan (Volume 2, p. 43, Part 3), it is stated that: A woman from the Ansar disobeyed her husband. Her husband slapped her in the face. The woman and her father came to the Prophet with a complaint. The Prophet ordered retaliation. The next day, when they came for retaliation, the Prophet recited the above verse [34_An-Nisa'] and said that the ruling on retaliation has been lifted regarding beating one's wife.
/ In verse 24 of An-Nisa, it is forbidden to marry a married woman unless she was obtained as a result of war (savages and human plunder). In this case, sleeping with her is permissible like breast milk, even if she has a husband, and the rex.com/MAZYAR19891/st…ation from Ibn Saeed who says:👇
/ The most derogatory verse of the Quran regarding women is verse 223 of Surah Al-Baqarah, which officially considers women as men's fields: Your women are your tillage, so enter your tillage whenever you wish (Surah Al-Baqarah 223). Translation: Your women are your tillage, so enter your tillage whenever you wish.
/ Regarding the above verse, Jalalain, in his interpretation of the sentence “If I will,” [meaning] “to every side of the field,” writes: “Man qiyam, qu’ood, ijti’ja, iqbal, iqbar.” That is, sitting, standing, [and] lying down, [and] from the front [of the field] and from the back [of the field] (from behind).
/ Then he writes that this verse was revealed to refute the belief of the Jews. Suyuti believes that verse 222 of Al-Baqarah, which explicitly says, “Go to your wives in the way that God has commanded you,” was abrogated due to the objection of Umar and a group of the companions, because the People of the Book slept with their wives.
/ Naturally, the Ansar, who were from Medina, had accepted this method, which was more suitable for women's modesty and modesty. However, the Muhajirs, following the custom of the Quraysh and the people of Mecca, would wrap women in various types of cloths and roll them from all sides, and they enjoyed throwing them on their backs and stroking their backs.
/Or they should have intercourse with both her back and front. One of the emigrants had taken a woman from the Ansar and wanted to do the same to her. The woman refused and said, "We will sleep on one side." The news reached Muhammad, and this verse was revealed: "A woman is the property of a man, and he can do with her however he wishes."
/Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Tirmidhi narrate from Ibn Abbas that Umar came to the Prophet one morning and said: “O Messenger of Allah, I have perished.” That is, O Messenger of Allah, I have perished.” The Prophet said, “How have you perished, O Umar?” He said, “I left tonight, but he did not say anything to him.”
/ Meaning: I wanted to do something but it did not happen. At that time, this verse was revealed, and the meaning of “I have sinned” is: “The front, the back, and the back.”
/ In verse 5 of Surah An-Nisa, women are clearly called foolish and stupid: "Wal'a tutwa al-supfahaa amwalakkom alti ja'al-al-Allah for you qiyamah, and their sustenance in it, and they wear them, and they say." A well-known saying for them (5 women).
/Translation: 👆 And do not give your wealth - which Allah has made a means of sustenance for you - to the disbelievers, but provide for them from it and clothe them.
/Explanation that maintenance is given to "women" and "children"; which in this verse specifically means "women" and this is also clear from the context of the verses. ⇦Ali ibn Ibrahim Qummi in his commentary, vol. 1, p. 131, quoting Imam Baqir, says that in this verse [5 women], the meaning of the fools is women.
/In Al-Burhan fi Tafsir al-Quran, vol. 2, p. 21, Imam Baqir said regarding verse 5 of An-Nisa: “The meaning of fools in this verse is women.” Al-Bahrani, on p. 24, quoted Imam Ali regarding verse 5 of An-Nisa: “Do not bequeath your property to women, because Allah says: Do not give your property to fools.”
/ In verse 4 of Surah Noor, a man can bring 4 witnesses and accuse his wife of adultery, and in verse 6 of the same Surah, if he cannot find 4 witnesses, he can unilaterally swear 4 times that his wife is an adulteress, in which case the woman's adultery will be proven!
/Translation of verse 6_An-Nur: And those who accuse their wives of adultery and have no witnesses against them except themselves, then each of those husbands must testify four times [to prove his accusation] that by God, he is certainly telling the truth [about his wife].
/ In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 282, a woman's testimony in court is half that of a man, meaning two women against one man, which is because [women's intelligence and intelligence are considered incomplete] from the Islamic perspective. In verse 11 of Surah An-Nisa, it is mentioned that a woman's inheritance is half that of a man.
/ In verse 3 of Surah An-Nisa, a man is allowed to take up to 4 wives and an unlimited number of slave girls if he claims justice: Translation of verse 3_An-Nisa:👇
/And if you do not act justly between the orphan girls, then marry whatever you like of the [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be able to act justly, then [take] one [free woman] or what your right hands possess....
/ It is very strange that in verse 129 of the same Surah An-Nisa, it says that a man can never be just between several wives, but in verse 3 of An-Nisa, it says that a man can have up to 4 wives! That is, God Himself says that a man cannot be just between several wives at the same time, but He allows him to have multiple wives!
