Multiple people I know have experienced crime in SF, from theft to robbery or worse. It's honestly ridiculous. SF is *small*, not even 1 million people! I'd say this is third world tier, but actual 3rd world cities are safer. China is in another dimension altogether.

你有没有想过，当AI的能力远超人类时，人类的劳动价值可能趋于0，甚至负值（人类出错），在这种情况下，社会的运转与经济系统会是什么样子？ Emad @EMostaque 最近有一场在线访谈，聊了这个问题👇🏻 在接下来的1000天内，我们可能就会发生这种智能倒置的情况。 人类社会的生产力经历了从土地到工厂，再到资本与IP的变迁。在AI时代，生产力是算力。 如果我们无法构建出一个「以人为本」的奖励函数，AI最终就会泯灭掉人类存活的意义（在行动上没有价值，或许只剩下了肉体价值） 但如果存在这种奖励函数，它一定会是去中心化的。 只有不被人垄断，它才不会失控。 于是人们想办法去挖矿，这些货币从另外一面代表了计算资源，这些算力在支持公共AI系统，公共AI系统又在服务全人类。 这种基础数字货币，其实就是现在的比特币呀。 从前人们在做无用的哈希计算，但未来人们都在使用AI处理每一个有价值的问题！ 解决这些问题，获得货币，这个去中心化货币其实就是算力资源计算行为的证明。 但是，有限货币人们更偏向于囤积，而不是使用。 失去流动性的货币就无法成为一个经济体中有效的交换媒介。这就是所谓的“格雷欣法则”或通缩螺旋。 所以，还需要构建一种流通货币，以便把价值存储和交易媒介区隔开。 每个经过验证的真实人类，通过其个人AI，将自动、持续地获得一种新的流通货币。 这种货币与基础数字货币挂钩，保证其价值稳定。 这笔钱是每个人与生俱来的权利，构成了社会安全网的基础。 这样就避免了单一通缩货币导致的经济停滞问题。人们会愿意花费流通货币来换取AI提供的服务，而AI则需要通过服务人类来赚取这些Credits，再用它去支付运行所需的算力（最终可能需要兑换成Foundation Coin或其他形式） 当AI只能消耗这些流通货币时，AI的奖励函数就被锁定成必须要做对社会和人类有益的行为。完成了一种激励对齐。从而去制衡那些可怕的“AI毒瘤” ----------- 这个访谈Emad还提到另外一个观点，生成式AI的惊人能力暗示了宇宙本身可能具有某种计算或信息的底层结构，我们只是处于一个“发现”这一结构的过程中，我们在发现智能而非发明智能 同样的底层AI模型架构（如Diffusion、Transformer）能够以极高的压缩率学习并生成看似完全不同领域的内容，从蛋白质折叠、物理世界模拟，到人类语言和经济系统。 这些模型可能触及了现实世界更底层的运行规律，宇宙本身可能就是一个在最小化某种“损失函数”（如熵或信息差）的巨大计算系统。 ----------- AI强大后，人类的价值 当认知和计算能力不再是稀缺资源时，人类的价值将回归到那些无法被量化的部分： 比如关系网络：人与人之间的连接、社区归属感、社会关系。 比如真实的互动体验：与家人朋友的相处、共同创造和经历的价值。 比如成为独立思考的人：成为一个有意识、有情感体验的存在，这可能是AI无法复制的。 AI的崛起迫使我们重新思考GDP之外的价值衡量标准，转向关注人类的长期繁荣和生命的意义 访谈来源：https://t.co/PHurYHMVKE

Yes I do believe foreign governments are actively trying to sabotage the West's progress and stagnate it Russia funding climate change activists in Germany to shut down nuclear plants and make them dependent on Russian gas was a big one There's much more meddling by foreign actors behind the curtain than we can see now (we'll only know in 30-50 years or so when it usually comes out) And we have been meddling with their countries too (see CIA involvement everywhere in the world since 1950) So that makes me highly skeptical of the climate change and eco movements, they seem the perfect thing for foreign governments to fund and promote to slowly destroy entire societies while people think they're doing "The Good Thing (tm)" It's also the perfect thing that can't be fought against easily, if you do, like this tweet you'll hear "So you don't care about the environment?" No I do but I'm just saying it's probable your country is being manipulated by foreign actors that have the goal to make you poor and geopolitically irrelevant and you should be very scared of that Maybe more scared than you should be of climate change
