What a gorgeous machine. Back when computers weren't afraid of showing some color. Red escape, blue return, green shifts. Love it.

What the legal system needs is a way to equate some forms of digital communication with simply speaking. We don't need special laws for one technology like Chat or one scenario like therapy. We need a privacy law about conversations intended to be ephemeral.

We're in a crazy spot where everything digital is a permanent, discoverable, retained, searchable, findable, and treated as a record of precise and deliberate thought. Spoken words (that weren't recorded) were never that and when most people use most digital tools in their brain they are speaking not "memorializing", "writing a memo", or "articulating with rigor".

Talking to a bot should be like messaging a friend should be like talking in a park. Expressions lost to time, held between and for the two people. If you walked in a park talking and were recorded you get "The Conversation".

Otherwise we're all going to need to become Paulie, and Paulie hated phones.

PS: This applies to business as well.

I love @revolut's Global eSIM

I just flew from Portugal to Netherlands to Qatar to Singapore and now to Japan and I when I land I'm directly connected again to 5G with the same eSIM I can use anywhere

And it auto renews, so no catch-22 where you run out of data and then can't add data because you don't have data

Not affiliated, but it's just a great product and how connectivity should be by default, global as an eSIM!
