Think about it in terms of management:

Great Engineering Managers don't rely on micromanagement. They aren't afraid to hand off tasks because they understand the boundaries of their team's capabilities. They excel at breaking tasks down into granular units that fit those capabilities and know exactly how to verify (accept) the results. This not only saves effort but fully leverages the team's power.

Poor Managers are afraid to delegate. They fear mistakes or worry that their subordinates might threaten their job security. Consequently, they micromanage everything, burning themselves out while the team's efficiency remains low.

When you use a Coding Agent, you are stepping into the role of an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead. Success doesn't come from a "sense of control" or micromanagement—it comes from your technical judgment and your management capabilities!
