Mobile use by AI >> Computer use by AI Reason 1: Most tasks I do with mobile (get an Uber, order food) I want to outsource to an Agent. Most thinks I do with laptop, I want to do myself - except for things like agentic coding. Reason 2: Anthropic style Computer use is hard. OpenAI style Browser operators is limited. Computer screens result in far more tokens than mobile screens. Mobile UIs are easy to figure out for models. Computer UIs are hard. Reason 3: The apps like WeChat immediate blocked below Agentic interface by ZTE+ByteDance. That said Mobile use is a bigger use case than Compute use and OS Makers like Huawei, Google, Apple will force apps to allow it. They may also force / incentivise apps to expose a special interface under the hood for agents to operate them. After all iOS, Android and Harmony these all are closed gardens...
