What’s the proper mechanism to iteratively modify an image with @midjourney?

“Add more grain”, for instance.

Talking as part of the imagine process.

So, given how difficult I know hunting to be, I am not at all surprised that we invented chess. Hunting is very, very complex and hard if you're depending on it for calories and not just doing it for kicks.

Anyway, I think people who would make comparative claims about the amount of intelligence required for various tasks should know more about all the tasks they're comparing, vs. having superficial (Hollywood) knowledge or having done it as a hobby or for low stakes.

The remark about chess vs. hunting & gathering reflects a common error I see all the time from people who think about intelligence from a STEM perspective. The error: hunting is extremely cognitively intense if you're actually truly skilled in the way our ancestors were.

In primitive & traditional cultures where you hunt for subsistence, you start learning to hunt & track when you can walk, & you only get really good at it in your 30's after doing it intensively your whole life. There is a massive amount of information to digest...

"LLM Psychosis" isn't quite right.

The Greeks told a tale of a beautiful man who refused the love of others, preferring to love his own reflection instead.

So imo "LLM Narcissism" fits better -- and even better than it fits the personality disorder it currently names.
