On the object level, I've observed that the Chinese have been moving from tankie takes like “Israel is the pawn of the US/Anglo empire exploiting resources in Gaza” to Mearsh-style “Israeli lobby” to “Jews run the US”. Largely that's just more awareness of Western discourses.
Jews seem to still lack awareness of just how badly Gaza looked for the Chinese. And how it demonstrates, above all, Israeli sovereignty, the fact that the US totally doesn't *run Israel*, even when it wants to. In the imperial logic, this invites certain updates.
