Incredibly powerful and emotional words from @BenSasse - God Bless: "[O]ften we lazily say 'hope' when what we mean is 'optimism.' To be clear, optimism is great, and it’s absolutely necessary, but it’s insufficient. It’s not the kinda thing that holds up when you tell your daughters you’re not going to walk them down the aisle. Nor telling your mom and pops they’re gonna bury their son."

Probably just a fad: "Spending related to A.I. contributed to almost half of 'year-over-year growth in G.D.P.' in the first half of the year." https://t.co/mIEVoB5ch5

As with any new administration, @realDonaldTrump has new and different priorities for which he was elected. Increasing the efficiency of the workforce and ensuring that we have the right talent focused on the right objectives are key priorities. Yes, change is hard, but we are doing so in service of the American people.

The 7.5% involuntary resignations were split as follows - about 2/3 were reductions-in-force (i.e., elimination of functions) and 1/3 were probationary terminations (i.e., employees with less than 1 or 2 years of service).
