One of the things that will give China the edge is that they still have boomers in positions of power who've seen real shit. Not these entitled manchildren blabbering about firm handshakes and keeping your back straight. People who went through *worse* than wars. Serious people.

We're in a race. It's not USA vs China but humans and AGIs vs ape power centralization. @deepseek_ai stan #1, 2023–Deep Time «C’est la guerre.» ®1

the secret of influence is to give people better language for what they already believe.

when you articulate an idea precisely, it becomes portable. other people can pick it up, use it, and spread it. the clearer your words, the more likely they’ll stick.

when someone coins a phrase that crystallizes a truth, movements follow. i have the good fortune of working with @cdixon who has coined (or popularized) many such phrases:
- “the next big thing starts out looking like a toy”
- “can’t be evil”
- “the casino vs. computer”
- “read write own”, etc.

whether or not you agree with them, sentences like these organize reality. they make complexity simple, and simplicity can be contagious.

when you write well, you’re not just describing the world. you’re defining the terms of debate and engagement. success is making sense of something others already feel, articulating it, and hearing it repeated back at you.

writing shapes people’s frames of reference. it decides what questions get asked and what possibilities extend from there.

a single sentence can do more work than a hundred meetings. write to give others the language to build on.

4. write to lead.

Borderless Founders: Becoming the Benchmark

I was born in a place the world saw as weak and foolish. I was told that borders define your potential.

I have learned this is not true. The most exceptional people are born everywhere. They simply refuse to stay within boundaries.

I call them Borderless Founders.

They are rewriting what global ambition looks like, and they are the reason I am building what comes next.
