ML research is an engineering discipline, not a philosophy seminar. You build, you test, you learn. Untested ideas are just speculation.

literally the only thing you have to do to stand out as someone who covers tech better than the Wall Street Journal is *checks notes* not hate tech and disingenously interpret literally everything in the worst possible light

this is @Jessicalessin's villain origin story btw

Hello everyone, Yansu is our company's new product and what I've been mainly busy with these past few months.

Before the term "Vibe Coding" emerged, I was always working on AI Coding products. I have always believed that AI Coding is the future. However, when people started talking about Vibe, I became a bit hesitant.

Because humans are like this; they tend to make things that shouldn't matter too much very serious, such as formality, sense of ceremony, hierarchy; but often appear indifferent towards things that should be taken seriously—health, dignity, life.

And I think coding should be serious. Especially when the code you write isn't just demos from 0 to 1 but a complex system that's been running for a long time and quietly serving countless people. Writing code in a large and complex system is engaging in dialogue with the efforts of many people. Every time you commit code, you're maintaining some kind of order or continuity of value.

So we proposed the term "Serious Coding." It is based on internal knowledge, rigorous validation, and ultimate intent. Yansu is the most natural response to this idea.
