up to 1 million in 2026. I imagine 1 million is baked in by 2027. Even if AI is lagging or chips are meh, we can rely on densing laws and get all these bodies dancing on the factory floor with an update. No reason to wait once good hardware is available.
how much for Figure?

I repeat that the fair price for a humanoid is <$10K. These things are a tiny fraction of an EV in BOM when produced at scale. though at China scale, you don't need to prioritize humanoids over specialized types, they'll all saturate production lines.

i always wondered about the economics of the iron maiden 747 'ed force one', but looking into it it makes sense. it was a leased aircraft just for book of souls, with about ~145 flight hours leasing at $4M, about $0.6M in fuel costs, about $0.7M in landing & handling fees, for ~$5.3M. the tour itself grossed $34M in the leg where the jet was used, and carried the band, equipment, crew, etc. point to point. good roi!

RT @hemashushu: 分享一个非常适合入门 Linux 编程的教程《Build Your Own Redis with C/C++》

这个教程的特点是将知识点讲得非常细致,生怕你看不懂,同时循序渐进地展开怕你中途放弃。从 socket/tcp 开始,讲到并发(异步)…

We're in a race. It's not USA vs China but humans and AGIs vs ape power centralization. @deepseek_ai stan #1, 2023–Deep Time «C’est la guerre.» ®1

Cloud and mobile made distribution almost instantaneous, and AI makes the creation of software faster than ever in history.

Which is why moats really do matter, and why systems of record rule supreme. The good news is that there are new systems of record just waiting to be built...for industries that just never had them before.

The platform (almost always) wins

The spreadsheet was invented in 1979 by VisiCalc. VisiCalc lost 50% marketshare within 4 years to Lotus, and Microsoft obliterated Lotus within 15 years.

These "creative destruction" cycles used to take decades. With AI, they can take...months?
