We're in a race. It's not USA vs China but humans and AGIs vs ape power centralization. @deepseek_ai stan #1, 2023–Deep Time «C’est la guerre.» ®1

Building a creator biz in public:

I went through a helpful re-prioritization exercise this weekend.

I found myself constantly context switching the past couple of months and needed to simplify how I spent my time/energy/mindshare.

Here's how I was spending my time before:

1. Consulting
2. Events
3. Newsletter
4. X
5. LinkedIn
6. YouTube
7. Operations
8. Pod promo
9. Pod prep
10. IG

Basically, a shit show of being on 24/7 and feeling like everything at the bottom of the list was not making progress

(jack of all trades, master of none -- in full effect here)

After re-structuring, prioritizing, and categorizing by buckets that move the biz forward,

Here's what I came up with:

Revenue drivers
1. Consulting
2. Partnerships
3. Events

Distribution
1. X
2. LinkedIn
3. Newsletter
–
4. YouTube → outsource operations
5. Podcast → outsource operations
6. Pod promo → bulk create + schedule
7. Pod Prep & Outreach → niche down and simplify
8. IG → deprioritize (or scheduling)

Experimental
- Farcaster/Base → testing phase

––

This will likely be an iterative process.

but one that every creator goes through

We try to do it all, and unless you have a specialized team to help, then it ends up being counterproductive overall.

––

LMK if you like these types of posts, and I'll keep the series "Building a creator biz in public" going

Also open to answering questions along the way, so LMK if you got any.
