you also wanted tesla to take openai over, no nonprofit at all.

and you said we had a 0% of success.

now you have a great AI company and so do we.

can't we all just move on?

AI is cool i guess

i helped turn the thing you left for dead into what should be the largest non-profit ever.

you know as well as anyone a structure like what openai has now is required to make that happen.

3DGS, satellite imagery, and drones are game changers for disaster recovery and modern warfare.

Progress in real-time 3D reconstruction will lift the fog of war. Drones are cheap and ubiquitous, and with Gaussian Splatting, anyone can build near-instant spatial awareness. This can even happen in a feed-forward way, similar to how Tesla approaches autonomous vision. The first LichtFeld Studio bounty already demonstrated that seven scenes can be trained in about twenty minutes on an RTX 4090, even with a classical optimization-based approach.

Combine this with feature embeddings that let you prompt directly within the scene for objects like humans, tanks, or buildings. Almost every week, new research papers are published doing exactly this.

Projects like Skyfall GS already turn satellite images into explorable 3D urban environments using diffusion models with real-time rendering performance.

Companies are beginning to experiment with decentralized mapping, where different actors contribute their own 3D data that merges into one coherent world model.

In disaster zones, this means instant 3D situational maps. Collapsed buildings, flooded streets, and blocked roads can be reconstructed and shared within minutes to guide rescue teams.

In warfare, it becomes a massive intelligence amplifier, combining drone and satellite imagery into live 3D maps of terrain, movement, and infrastructure faster than any traditional reconnaissance could.

The next step is not just seeing the world but reconstructing it in real time.

1. write to think

writing forces clarity.

most of what we call thinking is just a nebulous haze of impressions: half-baked ideas, borrowed takes, insta 'feels'.

often when you try to put what you're thinking into words you realize...you don’t know what you think.

writing slows your thought processes down enough to consider them carefully, to see things clearly. it shows you where you’re fooling yourself, the inconsistencies, the gaps, the holes.

writing is an x-ray machine. it enables you to see inside yourself and learn what you really think... including whether what you thought you believed holds up.

it's uncomfortable! writing is pain! but over time, it changes you brain chemistry, strengthens your mind, and makes you a more rigorous thinker.

if you want to think better, write more.

Re: @thesamparr thing.

Haters are actually just fans who haven't processed their jealousy yet.

This was obvious in the DMs he had sent him before.

When people hate on you, they’re not saying “you suck.”
They’re saying, “I wish I had what you have.”

Whenever I get stuff like this directed at me, I try to ignore. Never wrestle with a pig. You get dirty and the pig likes it.

The only thing you need to do is save them to your secret Apple note of ppl you should never do business with.
