Jamie Dimon sits down at the table next to us. He waits by himself for more than an hour. Super happy and relaxed the entire time. Really nice to the waiters. Never looks at his phone or his watch. Orders wine but waits to drink even a glass. I am wondering who on this planet would keep Jamie Dimon waiting for an hour? Then a young woman and her boyfriend walk in and rush to his table. The young woman says “Dad I am sorry we are late - we just feel asleep” and Jamie says “Do not worry about it. I am just so happy and grateful to be having dinner with you.”

do not waste time negotiating pricing with your "design partners" I've worked with 50+ AI teams at the 0->1 stage -- Sometimes I see teams mistakenly overthink pricing in the first few weeks of building a product ==> The only thing you should care about is demonstrating product value go with a SIMPLE, flat rate design partner program fee -> It's an essential signal to see that the customer is willing to pay SOMETHING -> the term of the program can be something like 6 months. After that period, you can agree on a fair pricing model that compensates you for the value creation -> the # of design partners will vary based on the time of solution you're building. If an enterprise-type motion (and commensurate ACVs) it should probably be something like 2-3 Then be maniacal about demonstrating ROI Make your product/service irreplaceable. Then talk pricing model
