Give the gift of slop creation to your loved ones this holiday season.

But seriously, if you have the means, and you know someone who is struggling and doesn’t know what to do next and is understandably apprehensive about the future, try asking them if they’re interested in learning how to make software using AI agents.

If they’re actually motivated, you can create a limited-use credit card number and have them use it to sign up for Claude Max and GPT Pro and rent a cloud server and see how much they can get done in a month. At the very least, they should learn something for the ~$500 or so.

And if someone is really driven and diligent, you might be shocked how much they can do once they cross the initial (admittedly steep) hump of getting a cloud server set up with all these agents.

It’s the closest thing there is to having real magical powers. And it’s a lot of fun, too.

If you want to see everything that went into the design and refinement of the Agent Flywheel project, I published the beads_viewer static site for it here:

I really tried to make this as comprehensible to someone without computer knowledge as possible; all jargon has super detailed definitions included.

And I did multiple rounds of "audits" using agent trying to simulate the perspective of someone who doesn't know much about technology, which you can see documented here:

https://t.co/PodsF1DwYA

It's still not as easy and simple as I'd like, but it's miles ahead of other guides, which don't even try to target the people I'm talking about here. I'd describe these people as being "hungry but clueless."

They want to learn so they can acquire these magical new capabilities, but don't know the first thing about how to do it other than using a pure slop factory site like Lovable.

Now they have a chance to get going in a real way using real tools that can scale with them and be used to create serious software. And with enough grit and determination, you can get Claude and Codex to solve most problems for you.

My https://t.co/TKaKxRJ3V5 site seems to be working pretty well now, with a huge amount of new content. Not bad for a few days on the side as I worked on other stuff.

Around 33k lines of high-quality shell scripts and nearly another 30k of typescript/react for the webapp.

If you’re working at the frontiers of AI and don’t frequently have pangs of distress and fear for our way of life, you have no heart. If you’re still ignoring AI, you have no brain.

Jeffrey Epstein died 6 years and 4 months ago. If you asked me to guess, I would not have been even close. Really doesn’t seem like that long ago. Time flies.
