check out this chart -- the majority of seed rounds go to startups in SF and NY (and really, mostly SF) (we'll be dropping a report on "the state of seed" from Carta tomorrow on our official substack) But it's data like this that tells you why a16z speedrun always hosts Demo Day in San Francisco... More and more of the top seed rounds are being raised by teams in SF. So a lot of what we do with our global founders program, an open application window, etc., is to help connect them into the SF tech ecosystem and help them with financing (among many other things)
