Watching ChatGPT think for 27 minutes just to say “Something went wrong” has the same energy as the three typing dots from your ex that last forever, but never turn into a text.
OpenAI needs to take this seriously. It’s a UX disaster. I never hit it in Gemini. It’s not hard to fix at the infra level: Retry should resume from saved work, not wipe 27 minutes and start over. Right now GPT-5.2 Pro has me running 5 parallel chats just to get one to finish.
