And another social event on repeat:
>What are you doing?
>So we train from scratch.
>Ok but which models are you fine tuning
>From **scratch**. Zero, nihil, zilch.

(Though people might be legitimately skeptical after so many fine-tunes disguised as whole new models)

I am happy to admit that if you asked me 4 years ago I would have said I wouldn't expect a language model would be able to solve a puzzle like this, but they pretty reliably can

if you asked me 10 years ago I would have said the question was basically nonsense

i think about this post a lot as I’ve started to write/post in the last handful of months and pick a set of interests (harnesses, agents, evals) to regularly talk about. the first time i came across it was @_buildspace, just trying to get a post online

it feels super cringe to say talk about the sane things over and over again…but you have to!

in AI it’s more fun because things change so fast, theres actually cool stuff to engage with, build, try out

once you get over “cringe mountain”, it’s pretty fun, have met some amazing ppl on X in just the last few months of posting, highly recommend

Working on making @pushsilver pass PHPStan level 6. 😅 The first commit on this app was Feb 26, 2015, so this'll be interesting.

It’s so funny to see what causes outrage online. The most mundane observations set off firestorms.

The absolute worst thing you can do on the internet is to ask people to have standards. Anything that points out it’s good to take pride in yourself, your work, your appearance or your family is a recipe for rage.

Nothing is more triggering than seriousness.
