WarpGrep style search and agentic web search (ex: exa, parallel) are the best examples of a future of “build better tools for agent harnesses” it’s a good business, narrow focus hyper optimized on one piece of the agent harness but from these rlly good results makes a huge difference on one dimension that agents struggle with, context rot! pretty excited to test how much better perf an existing harness gets by swapping out base tools for better ones

Yep. Tell ‘em Mixpanel did that and it did just fine. Scaled rapidly to $30-40m in short order and these days you’d probably 2-3x that on strong PLG growth.
