In hindsight, I think this view of mine does not give room for genuine curiosity. I am using my lens as a well-travelled person, and I also know the Rwandan story, but many people probably don't know, and that's not because they are uneducated, but because they simply don't have the knowledge. It's like expecting someone to know about Boko Haram in Nigeria, or how a lot of people don't know, asking African Americans "where are you from" can come across weird, despite it being an ice breaker question for black British people. @winexviv I think you did nothing wrong, as na learn we dey all learn.
