When I sent🎁to ChatGPT "A compact Bayesian thought experiment: If an agent can self-improve, the value of additional resources is convex in capability. Even tiny advantages early have superlinear expected value, because they compound through better strategy, better modeling of rivals, and faster improvement. This is why races become unstable."

Release everything. He doesn't know what would be useful to Internet autists in identifying the individual. He should watch Death Note: Light infers identity from trivial scraps, behavioral patterns, and side channels others ignore.

I think the Bayesian evidence that the Brown shooting was motivated by anti-Republican targeting is strong, at least 50%. Start with the prior. Before knowing anything beyond “there was a campus mass shooting,” I put the chance of Republican targeting around 5 to 10 percent, especially after the Charlie Kirk killing. Then update on one fact: one of the two people killed was the vice president of the Brown College Republicans.

The key update factor is:

(probability the vice president of the Republican club would be killed if the attack was targeted against Republicans)

/

(probability the vice president of the Republican club would be killed if the attack was not targeted against Republicans)

If that ratio is large, which it plausibly is on a campus where prominent Republicans are scarce, the updated belief crosses 50 percent.

I have no idea what was going on with Rob Reiner and his son. But if one's adult child is a drug addict, parents should have the legal right to treat the adult addict as a child and force treatment/confinement.

I don't understand the shock about the lack of usable pictures of the Brown murderer. It's normal for people on college campuses to have their faces covered by medical masks or masks protecting from cold.
