STARTER STORY IS NOT THE MORAL POLICE

A lot of controversy in here.

One of the biggest things we try to do on Starter Story is show off apps that JUST took off.

There's a lot to learn from these stories IMO.

But ofc this fast growth often comes at a cost, and it doesn't mean everything done is "right".

"Right" is subjective and our goal is not to play moral police - it's to show off very successful businesses and hoping that people watch can learn something in the process.

I think what you can take away from this is:

1. having a great onboarding does increase conversions
2. having a free plan is generally not the move
3. don't be afraid to turn people away who don't want to pay you for what you built

BUT WITH THAT BEING SAID... it's important to not overdo these things.
