heroes are so boring now. they’re all reactionary, defenders of the status quo. why doesn’t iron man cure cancer or build cities with alien tech? why not a moon base instead of upstate new york? why do they always need a team to do anything? why are writers so afraid of giving heroes real ends, but obsessed with the means? only the villains are allowed ambition, creativity, or any sort of will to power. only the villains imagine a future! it’s lazy, uninspired storytelling. make heroes cool again.
