Interesting example of *recursion* in PHP/Laravel I saw in one project User model. To generate a random username, the 1st attempt is "random 8 characters". But if that username exists in DB, the function will add 3 more characters and call itself until success. Pretty smart.

As you can see, it's not a linear/exponential growth. Some years were good, some weren't as good. In 2021, I got the dividends from launching a course and an eBook in 2020. It was the first time I made some serious money online. In 2023, I spent a lot of the income on my SaaS (paid salaries and stuff), so the net revenue was smaller. In 2024, my wife started to earn way more from her business, so even though I earned less than in 2021, it increased the total. In 2025, I was forced (🤭) to make a ton of money because we bought a new apartment and had to furnish it. So I put my mind to work and... it paid off! Not sure if we can top it in 2026, but hope to keep it above 100k at least.
